Yuan Jian, born in December 1965, a native of Taixing, Jiangsu, a member of the Communist Party of China, a Professor and master tutor at the School of Food Science and Engineering, Nanjing University of Finance and Economics. Main social part-time jobs: concurrently serving as a member of the National Food Safety Standards Review Committee, a director of the Chinese Cereals and Oils Association, an editorial board member of the Chinese Cereals and Oils Association, and a standing director of the Quality Inspection Branch of the Chinese Cereals and Oils Association.

Research areas:

 

Engaged in research on food quality and safety evaluation and control, and deep processing of grain and oil. Successively presided over and participated in the completion of more than 30 national, provincial and municipal topics such as "Research on Key Quality and Safety Testing Technology of Grain and Oil Digital Acquisition", "Rapeseed Protein and Rapeseed Protein Peptide Production Key Technology Research and Product Development"; 4 professional textbooks such as "Food Hygiene Inspection and Testing"; drafted nearly 30 national standards such as "Soybean"; published more than 100 academic papers; applied for more than 40 patents, and 24 of them have been authorized. Mainly undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching tasks such as "Instrumental Analysis", "New Technology of Food Processing and Testing", "Food High and New Technology".
